Wave Byte Seller Policy

Effective for all Partner Stores & Vendors

Thank you for partnering with Wave Byte. We are committed to ensuring a smooth and professional eCommerce experience for both our sellers and end customers. This document outlines the official guidelines regarding refunds, replacements, product listing responsibilities, and warehousing terms. By listing and selling products through our platform, you agree to comply with the following policy terms.

1. Standard Refund & Replacement Policy

1.1 Product Condition

Wave Byte adheres to a standard Refund & Replacement Policy across all partner stores to maintain consistency and ensure customer satisfaction. You can review the customer-facing version of this policy here: Wave Byte Refund & Replacement Policy

✅ Note: Implementing this policy will have a cash-neutral impact on you. This means you will not be charged for replacements initiated due to valid product issues raised within the policy timeline.

2. Product Listing Guidelines

To maintain a high standard of service and minimize negative customer experiences, all sellers are required to:

  • Accurately represent product features in promotional creatives. Do not advertise features your product does not support.
  • Ensure consistency between product variants (e.g., color, size, model) listed on the Wave Byte platform and what is promoted through your store or creatives.
  • Price your products reasonably to set clear and realistic customer expectations regarding quality and performance.

3. Warehousing Disclaimer

If you are utilizing Wave Byte's warehousing services:

Wave Byte shall not be held legally liable for any loss, damage, or destruction of inventory stored at our facility, unless such loss is proven to be the result of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, a replacement unit will be dispatched within 24 hours, free of charge.

Option B – Courier Pickup

Alternatively, Wave Byte can coordinate a courier pickup from your location. A replacement will be processed and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours of successful pickup. The product must be securely packed in its original packaging, including all accessories.

4. Customized Refund & Replacement Scenarios

If you choose to implement a custom refund or replacement request outside the standard policy, the following charges will apply:

4.1 Replacement – Non-Faulty Product or After the Deadline

If you request a replacement:

  • Where no product defect is found, or The customer deadline for initiating a replacement has passed,
  • You will be charged: AED 17 per replacement request
4.2 Refund – Seller-Initiated

Wave Byte does not typically support refunds. However, if you voluntarily initiate a refund request, the following costs will be charged to your account:

  • Fulfillment & Shipping (original order): AED 17
  • Product Pickup & Return Processing: AED 17

Total Cost to Seller: AED 34 In addition, the full sale amount of the order will be reversed from your account.

5. Special Case Refunds (Security Risk)

In rare instances where security risks or fraud are identified, Wave Byte may issue a refund directly to the customer. In such cases:

  • Wave Byte will bear the operational cost of the refund.
  • The sale amount of the transaction will be reversed from your account.

These cases are uncommon and will be clearly mentioned in your weekly payment invoice summary.
